Before Driver commitment
A paid ride cancelled while still searching is eligible for a full refund of the ride payment.
After Driver commitment
A ride cancelled after a Driver accepts, but before the trip starts, currently attracts a ₦300 late-cancellation fee. The remaining balance is submitted to Paystack for refund.
After trip start
The standard cancellation workflow is unavailable once the six-digit code starts the trip. Contact Hawa Support for safety incidents, service failures or disputed circumstances.
Refund timing
Refund processing time depends on Paystack, the payment channel and your bank. Hawa records the refund state and reference but cannot guarantee bank settlement time.
